Hi, I’m Jacqui – but most people call me “Jax”.

I’m the face behind Jax Walks, a friendly, reliable dog walking service based in Oakham and surrounding area.

I’ve always been a very family-oriented person, and anyone who knows me knows how much I love being outdoors, staying active and spending time with dogs. In fact, my family often have a laugh when I say I’m “just popping out with the dogs” — because popping out usually turns into a long walk and me coming home hours later! I simply love being outside, whatever the weather.

A Lifelong Love of Dogs

I’ve owned dogs all my life and currently share my home with Beau, my beautiful white German Shepherd. Beau has taught me so much about routine, responsibility and understanding each dog’s personality — and he’s a big reason I decided to turn my love of walking and dogs into something more.

I know how important it is to feel confident that your dog is safe, happy and genuinely cared for. That’s why I treat every dog I walk as if they were part of my own family.
